By definition, a superfood is a "nutrient-rich food considered to be especially beneficial for health and well-being." When co-founders, Chris Thowe and Kyle FitzGerald, set off to make eating your fruits and vegetables easy, superfoods are where they turned. 

The USDA recommends people eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each and every day and 90% of Americans are not reaching this requirement. This is why we created Balance the Superfood Shot. Each 2oz. shot, no matter the blend, offers half your day's servings of fruits and vegetables.
